Do some exercises like walking or stretching. You should also watch what you eat. As you grow older you should discipline yourself and focus on the basics of healthy living. Faze out the junk food. You are what you eat, and eating junk will lead to a very unhealthy aging process. In fact, not shockingly, many studies show that people who eat more pure, healthy foods live longer and healthier lives. Cut out the junk food and concentrate on choosing healthy alternatives. If you are still smoking, quit now! Smoking is never good for you, but it is even more important to quit right away. Smoking breaks down your skin's collagen leading to premature wrinkles. Smoking is also directly linked to increased risks of cardiac problems and cancers, and the risks only multiply with age. Quit now, no matter what your age, to help your body have a healthy aging process. Now very important is taking care of your skin. Try to slow down your wrinkles. This can be done and must be done now. One of the best things you can do to protect your skin is to make sure you always use sunscreen when outdoors, even on a cloudy day. Sunscreen keeps the damaging UV rays produced by the sun from causing wrinkles. Many sunscreens also contain moisturizing agents, allowing them to serve two purposes at once.Try to put some cream on your face. You can purchase many face creams from a pharmacy near you. You can also make a face mask cream at home using oatmeal, yogurt and honey. Warm a few drops of honey, mix with one tbsp yogurt and one tbsp oatmeal. Mix well in a bowl. Apply and leave on for 10 minutes than rinse off with warm water. If you feel your better years are behind you, try writing down your thoughts. This can be done through a poem, blog, letter or journal. Writing gets your brain working, and you can express who you are or may even come up with new ideas. The best part is you will realize how much knowledge and wisdom you already have with which you can impart to others. Use these great tips as a way to pave your path toward growing older.
